1. Operator and scope
Ask Evidus is operated by Michel Weiss, Claridenstrasse 29, 8600 DĂŒbendorf, Switzerland. Contact: hello@askevidus.com. These Terms govern access to the invitation-only Ask Evidus research platform during its current private pilot. A paid subscription offering is planned but is not yet governed by these draft Terms. Operator address: Claridenstrasse 29, 8600 DĂŒbendorf, Switzerland.
2. Invitation-only access
Access is granted individually at the operatorâs discretion. Invitations are personal, non-transferable and may be withdrawn. There is no right to registration, continued access or a specific service level. Users must keep access links and authentication methods secure and promptly report suspected misuse.
3. Research, not personalised advice
Ask Evidus provides general, standardised information and research concerning publicly traded companies and markets. Content is not tailored to any userâs financial situation, objectives or risk tolerance and does not constitute personalised investment advice, an offer or a solicitation to transact. Users remain responsible for their own decisions and should seek qualified advice when appropriate.
4. Models and data limitations
Probabilities, signals, rankings, forecasts, backtests, historical performance and forward-validation results are conditional on their stated definitions, horizons, samples and data. They may be incomplete, delayed, revised or incorrect. Historical results do not guarantee future outcomes. No particular return, accuracy or availability is promised.
5. Permitted use
Access is for the invited userâs own evaluation and research, subject to the applicable access arrangement. Users must not share accounts, systematically scrape or bulk-download content, circumvent access controls, republish substantial portions, resell content or use the service unlawfully. Reasonable quotations with attribution are permitted only where applicable law and third-party licences allow.
6. Intellectual property and third-party information
The platformâs original presentation, software and research materials are protected to the extent permitted by law. Market data, trademarks and third-party materials remain subject to their respective ownersâ rights and applicable licence restrictions. No ownership or redistribution licence is transferred by pilot access.
7. Availability and changes
The pilot is provided for testing and feedback. Features, data coverage, access rules and these Terms may change. The operator may suspend or end the pilot or individual access, including for security, legal or operational reasons. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
8. Responsibility and liability
Users should independently verify information before relying on it. To the extent permitted by mandatory applicable law, the operator does not accept liability for losses arising solely from reliance on research content, service interruptions or third-party data errors. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. The privacy notice does not replace these Terms.
10. Planned paid subscriptions â terms pending
A paid, invitation-only subscription offering is planned. Before paid access begins, these Terms must specify the actual subscription price, billing period, payment provider, renewal and cancellation mechanics, refunds, any applicable withdrawal rights, tax treatment and the consequences of termination. No payment or cancellation conditions are established by this draft section.
11. Research disclosures and conflicts
Research is subject to the definitions, methodological limitations and conflict-of-interest disclosures described in the Research Disclosures. This draft must be reviewed against the actual research production process and any personal holdings or transactions requiring disclosure.
12. Governing law and contact
Swiss law is intended to apply, subject to mandatory rules that may protect users in other jurisdictions. Any forum provision requires separate legal review before commercial launch. Questions: hello@askevidus.com.
